In April the District Council asked for your views on the proposal to group Appleton with Eaton Parish Council and Besselsleigh Parish Meeting under one parish council. This proposal is supported by both parishes.
Having reviewed the feedback received, the District Council now recommends grouping the two parishes and creating a new parish called ‘Appleton with Eaton and Besselsleigh Parish Council’, which will have 8 councillors.
Both parishes will retain their own boundary and identity but will work together as one parish council. Click on the map to see the location of both parishes.
The District Council is now seeking your views on the finalised proposal.
