Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) has informed us that works will be taking place this coming week (18th August) and will be completed no later than the 23rd August. During this time, the County Council requests that walkers kindly avoid the area, if possible.
As a reminder, OCC will be placing a surface down on the path starting at the wooden kissing gate beyond the grass field/orchard at Long Close and finishing at the wooden bridge into Besselsleigh Woods.
The surfacing the County Council is doing on Footpath 4 Appleton is type-1 stone base layer, with a surface layer of well compacted self-binding gravel.
