The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in Appleton, Eaton and Besselsleigh were a huge success. It was lovely to see the whole village come together for a village photo.
We will be adding photos to the photo gallery on this site as well as creating a video – we’ll let you know when they are ready and on the site!

Dear Parish Councillors, Parish Clerk, Jane Cranston and all those involved in the four days of celebration for HM The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee,
Thank you all so much for all the hard work both physical and administrative involved in putting on such a wonderful four days of celebration for the Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
By supporting the events financially, the Parish Council enabled the provision of lots of entertainment for everyone.
But mostly it is that truly special Appletonian, Eatonian Besselsleighan ability to get things organised and to celebrate and have fun together which is truly remarkable.
I know there was so much hard work in organising and delivering the whole four days of celebration but I think Her Majesty would have appreciated and been amazed by it all!
