Eaton Bin Collection Date Change
2nd October 2022
Bin collections in Eaton will change to Thursdays beginning the week of the 10th October.
Parish Council and Leisure and Recreation Committee Meetings – re-scheduled

The September Parish Council and Leisure and Recreation Committee Meetings have been re-scheduled. The Parish Council meeting has been re-scheduled for Tuesday the 27th September at 7:15pm in the meeting room in the Village Hall. The agenda will be posted after the week of the 19th September after the mourning period has ended.
The Leisure and Recreation Committee meeting has been re-scheduled for Monday the 3rd October at 7pm in the Pavilion. The agenda will be posted by the 28th September.
Vale of White Horse District Council services on Monday 19 September
South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse District Councils will be closed on Monday 19 September – the public holiday to mark the occasion of the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
As the councils’ offices at Milton Park will be closed, the books of condolence will not be available to sign on the day of the funeral but will be open again on Tuesday 20 September.
Waste collections in the two districts will not be taking place on 19 September. Collections next week will therefore take place a day later than scheduled, with an extra collection on the Saturday to catch up – this is the usual process the councils follow after a bank holiday. See the table below for more details.
Leisure centres and facilities owned by the councils will also be closed on 19 September, as will Cornerstone in Didcot and The Beacon in Wantage, the arts centres owned by the councils.

National Moment of Reflection

St Laurence will be commemorating the death of Her Majesty the Queen

St Laurence will be marking appropriately the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II this Sunday at 10am.
